I know I have been, many times in the past when I responded to calls to a furniture sale in Portland. In the seven years I have lived in Portland I have poured over countless furniture sales lured in by promises of bargains. Really when you see a sign for a Portland area furniture sale, you should probably ignore it, unless that happens to be a sign for Basset Furniture, and then you would have been justified in going anyway.
